The «Chartering Manager of a Shipping Company» CHART GHSS course is a unique training and skills upgrading program for future and current professionals in the general and bulk cargo freight market. The CHART GHSS course was created at the end of 2018 and is constantly being improved.

CHART GHSS course objectives

• teach all skills required to work as a chartering manager in a shipping company;
• prepare a specialist fully ready to perform professional duties after graduation;
• explain the logical basis of the terms of a maritime transport contract (Charter Party) and the actions of the parties when concluding it;
• teach analysis of events and assessment of risks affecting the freight market;
• help create a personal client base needed for independent work in the freight market;
• build a freight community capable of influencing the government's attitude toward shipping development.

Teaching principle: tell, show, and train.

Duration of CHART GHSS: about 15 weeks (about 105 academic hours).

CHART GHSS classes are held: online via Zoom. Group classes — Monday and Thursday 18:30–20:30. Personal classes — 1 hour per week at an agreed time. The exam takes place upon course completion and optionally on any Friday at the graduate's request.

By signing a training contract you receive:

• group classes on 21 topics (about 49 hours);
• MP4 recording of each group class, posted in the Telegram study group for personal use;
• study materials posted in the Telegram study group;
• individual classes (about 8 hours) for discussion, answering the student's questions, and checking homework;
• study assignments to practice skills;
• one exam after completing the course program;
• certificate and badge (after successful exam, sent by Nova Poshta within Ukraine);
• right to membership in the Greenhouse Club;
• right to attend group classes of subsequent groups of this course free of charge (after completing the course and full payment);
• right to additional personal classes after the course (paid separately);
• consultation and assistance when starting work in the profession.
